Implants are one way to replace missing teeth. They can be ideal in many situations since the teeth on either side of the space remain unaffected by the replacement tooth. Once this part integrates into the bone, which takes typically about 4-6 months. Impressions are then made for the crown (tooth) and connecting piece between the crown and the tooth.
